Why Epcom Hosting Service Hybrid Hosting?

Our hybrid cloud hosting lets you combine the scalability and cost-efficiency of public cloud resources with the control, security, and predictable performance of on-site, dedicated, or private cloud infrastructure, enabling you to keep data and mission-critical workloads on private servers while bursting to the public cloud for traffic spikes or non-sensitive services.

Allocate workloads to the cloud

Run low-latency or high-IO workloads on private/cloud-optimized instances, and scalable workloads on public cloud.

Pay-as-you-go to control costs

Pay for additional public cloud only when needed rather than provisioning permanent capacity to reduce overall spend.

Improved security and isolation

Automatically scale capacity during traffic spikes to maintain performance and prevent downtime, and improve user experience by reducing latency.

Legacy migration and integration

Move applications and data where they run best and perform phased migration or legacy integration to modernize IT infrastructure without disruption.

For Cloud Bursting

Run applications on private servers and burst on the public cloud when demand spikes.
Manage traffic surges without buying and maintaining large amounts of permanent capacity, and move workloads between environments to handle peak usage. By combining on-premises control with public cloud scalability, hybrid cloud hosting supports predictable performance and cost-effective handling of sudden increases in user activity.

For Migration and Integration

Keep legacy software running during partial or complete transition to cloud infrastructure.

Keep critical workloads on private resources while scaling other components on public platforms. With hybrid cloud hosting, you can migrate in phases, connect existing databases and systems to public cloud servers, and keep online services running without outages.

For Backup and Diaster Recovery

Have whole systems and data replicated to the cloud to recover quickly from hardware failure or natural disasters and prevent long-term loss.

For Regulatory Compliance

Process and store data on local or private systems so data stays within a jurisdiction and complies with data storage and handling policies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Epcom Hosting Services Hybrid Cloud Hosting

What is hybrid hosting?

Hybrid hosting combines private and public cloud resources to run applications and store data. It balances control, security, and scalability by keeping sensitive workloads on private infrastructure while using public cloud for burst capacity and cost-efficiency. Common components include on-premises servers, private cloud, public cloud providers, networking, and orchestration tools. These are typically used in regulated industries, variable workloads, disaster recovery, and legacy application modernization.

Hybrid cloud hosting enables businesses to optimize performance by placing workloads where they run most effectively, maintain control over sensitive data for security and compliance requirements, and avoid vendor lock-in by integrating platforms. It provides burst capacity for traffic spikes, simplifies disaster recovery and backup strategies, and provides a gradual migration path for businesses modernizing applications.

We offer general-purpose hybrid setups and optimized (CPU, memory, and storage) hybrid setups, 24/7 hotline and support channels, and services from migration assistance, environment setup, security hardening, to performance tuning.

Under these terms, Epcom Hosting Services clients are permitted to deploy applications, host sensitive or regulated data on private cloud segments, and leverage public cloud capacity for non-sensitive, burstable workloads or content distribution. Permitted uses include but are not limited to web hosting, data analytics, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, development and testing environments, disaster recovery, and backup operations, provided such uses comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

Read our Terms of Service for more information on permitted uses, prohibited content, and user responsibilities.

All client websites, applications, and environments that process, store, or transmit payment card data are required to be fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). PCI compliance is critical to protect cardholder information, prevent fraudulent activity, and preserve customer trust and business continuity. Clients have the option to use PCI-compliant payment processors like Authorize.NET or Stripe on their websites. Clients who develop, implement, and maintain their own payment processor must provide proof of compliance, including the PCI Attestation of Compliance (AOC).

Our data migration tools and implementation services make moving domains, websites, applications, email, and databases from other hosting providers fast, secure, and reliable. We provide migration tools and transfer plans that handle server replication and data transfers while preserving permissions and minimizing downtime.

Each migration includes pre-migration, staging, compatibility analysis, and a rollback strategy. For complex environments, we offer agent-based transfers and post-migration validation and optimization to guarantee performance on our platform. Our team coordinates with your current provider when needed, documents the migration steps, and offers monitoring and follow-up support to confirm everything is functioning correctly after the migration.
